Matilda Sewing Center
The sewing center was started to teach young widows and single women to earn a livelihood by themselves.
Here training is given to them for 6 months and then they join in stitching material for Matilda schools for childrens’
uniforms and also they stitched clothes for the tsunami survivors …Some of them after training have started their tailor shops in their own villages and are able to earn a living.
