Matilda Education Society, formerly known as VEDA, greets you in Jesus' name.

1. The Grace Children's Clinic:
   After several years we found a lady Doctor to help at Grace children Clinic. The Bindu children and many local children come for treatment. The two nurses and the doctor make the rural visitation on a weekly basis. Pray for the healing power of Christ through this medical facility.
2. Bindu Home:
   This year we have 125 resident children at Bindu Home. All deserving. We have a new Christian matron . She stays in the dorm with the children and helps out with home work and other activities. Pray that the children feel a closeness to God in a loving atmosphere. If you wish to lend a hand to one of these little ones write to me. I will send a photo and art work done by the child.
3. The Spiritual Ministry:
   In the month of May we conducted a one day children? camp. They came from 18 churches/ fellowships for fun and practical learning. They enjoyed being with other children The construction of stone cutter? church is completed except for a compound wall. The construction took longer than needed but we are glad that it is over. We thank each one of you for sharing in this wonderful work.
4. Matilda schools:
   The schools are in operation to a full capacity. Our school buses bring in many children from interior areas. Many parents see a need to send their children to school instead of putting them to child labor force. At both schools we teach computers at an early stage so that the children have knowledge of their subjects at their finger tips. One of our students who finished high school with merit marks got entrance into one of the better known colleges in the city of Hyderabad. Though the children come from tribal and low caste, and low income backgrounds given opportunities they do well in studies. Pray that these children know God through our services. Pray for another school bus .

Future projections:

1. September 15-21. Das will visit Taiwan to share in TIC Mission Sunday .
   Please pray as he shares about India ministry.
2. October first week. Shanghai International Church at Pudong will help build 50 houses in Muthai Palem in Bapatla. A team of 12 young persons from China will donate their sweat labor for 10 days. Please pray for these young men as they share their testimonials with their Indian counterparts.
3. October 27- November 03. The Taipei International Church (TIC) dental team will conduct a free dental camp at Mallepalli. Pray for the18 member dental team.
